PERSEVERANCE, THE SECRET OF ALL SUCCESS
Keynote: Troy Nix
The most common definition of perseverance is a steady persistence to accomplish a goal or reach an objective in spite of difficulties, obstacles or discouragement. Since most successful people will admit to the fact that falling down and getting back up is key to reaching goals and obtaining dreams, it’s not all that uncommon to experience multiple failures before experiencing success. In many cases, it’s how a person handles failure that dictates the probability for success. In fact, some of the world’s most impactful people, like Thomas Edison, didn’t recognize unsuccessful ventures as failures as he stated, “I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.” During this session, attendees will better understand tools and tactics that will help them become more resilient in the face of hard times and learn how to better persevere when the going gets rough.
